Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day is an American R&B/Soul singer-songwriter. She has been awarded various accolades like the Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for the Academy Award. Andra Days is a ferocious performer who writes well. She is not only an expert in the throwback genre of R&B, her musical roots are gospel jazz and blues.
